Description

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for preparing and contributing to the execution of all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) cycles and coordinates the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Assists in the preparation and execution of STRAP and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and YTD Customer Business Teams (CBT) reports
  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly Board of Directors slides
  • Validates product level reporting between ERP systems and OneStream
  • Provides analysis and insight for key financial drivers and metrics
  • Updates revenue visibility schedules
  • Conducts revenue variance analyses against AOP, actuals, prior year and prior forecasts
  • Manages the overall flow of data into the SIOP Forecast Model
  • Assists with data gathering for the weekly SIOP meetings with Product Line Leaders, planning personnel, and plant managers
  • Serves as a liaison between Sales and Operations to align expectations for revenue and production
  • Prepares the monthly SIOP report out information to the Leadership Team and participates in the monthly forecast meetings
  • Prepares weekly and monthly bookings and backlog updates to the Leadership Team
  • Supports the SVP of Marketing and Strategy and SVP of Defense Sales in ad hoc sales and demand analyses
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required, MBA or CPA a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Five to eight years of progressive financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous financial modeling development/enhancement experience required
  • Government and defense industry knowledge preferred
  • Use of SAP as ERP and OneStream as financial planning and reporting tool a plus
