All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description Full-time, temporary assignment (social worker gets paid hourly but hours are full-time, M-F, 9-5, position could possible become permanent in the future) Duties include: coordination of treatment plan/services for child, birth parent and foster parent, work includes assessments, strengths identification, case management, services plans, reports, works collaboratively with agency's medical unit re. psychiatric and psychological evals, medications, and mental health treatment plans and appointments Families are in Brooklyn and Queens and some home visits are required (following a reduced in-person visit requirement and safety precautions; the rest of the work is being done remotely) Will have trainings, team meetings, supervision, and court appearances all being done virtually (mainly via zoom)   Position Requirements experience in the child welfare system or providing case management services in NYC is highly preferred MSW/BSW (BSW requirement is 2 years working with children and families)     This position is currently not accepting applications.
