Share Email Opening Title PT Behavior Technician   Salary $14 per hour - $16 per hour   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Location Boundless- Worthington Campus   Position PT Behavior Technician   Category Behavioral Health   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Open Date 1/5/2021   Close Date 2/5/2021   Req Number BEH-21-00003   Description Summary/Objective Primary job responsibility is to implement behavioral health and educational services using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with individuals diagnosed with autism, related mental health disorders and intellectual disabilities in support of the education services provided at Highland Community Learning Center. Receive supervision and training from behavior analytic and mental health supervisors through direct observation and team meetings. Duties to be conducted at Cardington Elementary School serving children and teens with ASD and other developmental disabilities. Primary job responsibility is to work with children with autism in 1:1 and small group classrooms. This is a Part-Time, Hourly status position. Hours are Mon-Thursday 3:30pm-7:30pm.  Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Organize and maintain instructional area. Prepare and keep reinforcement and needed materials accessible. Delivers instruction following procedures learned from initial and ongoing training sessions and based on feedback given from supervisors. Collect and analyze data accurately following Boundless procedures. Maintain designated child’s program book. Monitor designated child’s IEP/Treatment Plan objectives and the progression of goals. Complete quarter review forms for designated child when assigned by Supervisors. Conduct preference assessments and deliver reinforcement following principles as learned in initial and ongoing training sessions and based on feedback from supervisors. Implements specific behavior plans as directed by supervisors. Demonstrates accurate implementation of specific skill sets as taught in initial and ongoing training sessions and based on feedback from supervisors. Identifies when interventions are needed for specific children and programs. All other assigned duties   Position Requirements Qualifications College Degree in related field (preferred) Minimum qualifications: at least 2 years of college in psychology or related field plus 3 years or more of experience in the mental health field. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Ability to complete trainings Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities. Utilize that information in daily therapies Ability to perform emergency medical procedures when necessary Ability to accurately document required therapy data Operates and conducts self in a professional manner at all times. Ability to hear and speak spoken language in communication with individuals served, other staff, family members of individuals, and members of the general public Ability to accept and implement feedback and constructive criticism in teaching, overall job operations Intermediate computer skills Interested?
