Share Email Opening Title Operational Planner  Category Security   Description The Operational Planner will assist in the research, development, and maintenance, and revision of crisis-action, contingency, and operational planning documentation. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Assist in the development and maintenance of operational plans. Develop, analyze, and evaluate all-hazards planning pertaining to resiliency, security, protection, preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery. Provide inputs on resource management, command and coordination, and information management throughout the lifecycle of an exercise or incident while maintaining NIMS guiding principles. Reviewing incident response authorities, existing incident management plans, and other resources. Developing initial draft based on review of existing authorities, existing incident management plans, and Core Planning Team feedback. Conducting weekly project team meetings to discuss document status, assignments, and path forward. Responsible for distribution of drafts to the Planning Teams for review and comment. Supporting the development of the After Action Reports which identifies best practices and areas for improvement experienced across CISA during incident support operations. Finalizing initial AAR draft based on interview findings from CISA personnel Adjudication of comments based on technical edits / Routing drafts through Divisional reviews Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
