Digital Advertising Coordinator  

Description

Position Objectives:

•To assist the PETA Foundation and supported organizations with online fundraising, advocacy, awareness, and lead-generation advertisements and analytic services
• To apply digital fundraising innovations that advance the goals of PETA and other international affiliates

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• In consultation with PETA Foundation and its supported organizations and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by them:
  o Manage PETA's Marketing Facebook/Instagram ads including grant obligations
  o Manage other Marketing ads as needed (e.g. IG stories, SnapChat, etc.)
  o For all ads, this involves drafting ads, getting correct approval, building ads, running A/B testing as needed, ensuring tracking is correct, optimizing ads based on results, sending detailed monthly reports on the results, and helping with additional reporting and strategizing as needed
  o Report ads results and misc. reporting to PETA's Marketing Department and The PETA Foundation's Development Department as needed
  o Complete monthly finance reports
  o Search ad creation, monitoring, copy testing, and compliance (Google Grant accounts, Google paid accounts, and Microsoft Ads)
  o Video ad conception/coordination/creation
  o Find new imagery/footage for ads use
  o Submit ad copy for translation
  o Compile and draft updates from others in the department to submit for the monthly PETA and PETA Foundation staff meeting
  o Trademark authorization submission for Google Ads
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
 

Position Requirements

• College degree in a related field or equivalent digital advertising experience
• Proven exceptional analytical, organizational, time-management, verbal/written communication, and research skills
• Ability to orchestrate a variety of projects and initiatives simultaneously and synergistically
• Excellent working knowledge of the Internet
• Working knowledge of Social Media
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues
• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
