Talent Acquisition Specialist - Part Time  


The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the company staffing needs in all areas which includes exempt and non-exempt production/operation roles along with professional and management level positions in the corporate office.

This is a flexible, part-time role of 15-25 hours per week that will be split between the St. Louis and Union, MO facilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize direct and indirect sourcing techniques, including but not limited to advertising, internet searches, cold calling, social/professional networking, diversity resources and competitor research to build a strong network of passive and active candidates.
  • Recommend and drive improvements to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, school/college recruiting, hiring events and sourcing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Maintain candidate database (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
Position Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer/Screener or a similar role or a prior HR internship. Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms, crafting Boolean search strings, professional networking, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Management Systems; prior experience with Ascentis software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, flexibility and creativity is needed.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint] and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
  • Possess a high level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with internal and external partners.
