The Resilient Enterprise Ground (REG) SME will make recommendations to leverage emerging technologies/innovations and perform technical analysis of the existing/planned network connectivity and data exchange approach.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Perform loading/forecasting and M&S analysis on Satellite C2 transmitters and receivers.
  • Assess current and future AFSCN and Commercial Augmentation system’s capabilities.
  • Recommend alternative solutions to current and future AFSCN demands.
  • Provide technical review/draft comments for S&T process.
  • Evaluate concepts and provide technical assessments of candidate S&T projects.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Ten (10) years’ space experience with four (4) years’ space C2 experience and three (3) years’ requirements experience, including demonstrated:
    • Proficiency with satellite C2 network transmitters/receivers loading and M&S analysis; current AFSPC/NRO tactical satellite ground and network C2 systems; requirements development/CBA/AoA processes.
    • Proficiency in functional/operating/system concepts development for new/existing systems; emerging concepts to system development.
    • Proficiency in identifying requirements, acquisition, and budgeting process interdependencies; JCIDS requirements process and staffing products through AFSPC / HPT / AFROC / JROC.
    • Proficiency in AFI 10-2801/AFSPCI 10-102, AFI 10-601/AFSPC Supp.
    • Knowledge of EGS program requirements, Ground Resource Scheduling Tools, Phased Array Technologies; current AFSPC initiatives, and SEV.
    • Knowledge of current DOD/NRO/commercial SATOPS/ground networking systems/interfaces; space satellite C2 units, weapon systems, and architectures; Model Based System Engineering.
    • Knowledge of C2/space control/SSA CONOPS/ICD/CDD/CPD/ KPPs/KSA/NR-KPP; tactical-/operational-/strategic-level C2 structures; tactical, operational, and strategic C2 operational/development stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of HQ AFSPC Program Security Classification Guides.

Education:

  • Master’s Degree is desired.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance: Top Secret security clearance required. SCI/SAP eligible.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
