Program / Senior Configuration Manager

We are seeking a Program / Senior Configuration Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead a team of up to 10 personnel supporting PMS 515 CONSTELLATION Class Guided Missile Frigate Program in Configuration Management (CM), Database Management (DM), and Administrative Support .
  • Assist government Program Manager in defining. organizing, and directing short and long range CM/DM planning; assist Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) in meeting milestones, schedules, budgets and costs.    
  • Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
  • Manage flow of shipbuilder's Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) inputs through Navy's integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) review process and final posting to iNAVY SharePoint. 
  • Direct contracting team's support of all Configuration Control Boards.    
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in program/project management, data management, or shipbuilding configuration management.
  • Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Active or Current SECRET clearance.
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline or related field. 
  • 20 years of experience within DoD/Navy Program management, data management, or configuration management; 
  • Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process).
