POSITION SUMMARY:
Employee will be responsible for all cable needs, support of all software and networking, telephone system monitoring, backup processes, maintains all network devices as well as special devices that run throughout the Speaking Rock Entertainment Center network, and other duties assigned by M.I.S/IT Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must have background knowledge and 2 years work experience as a MIS/IT Tech; must be well-versed in both hardware, software, network cabling, installations, etc., and be able to trouble shoot equipment that is not working properly/accurately and in as little time as possible. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills. Must have basic Networking skills first 4 layers of the OSI model, must have basic understanding of Vlans and wireless technologies, must have basic Microsoft Server skills, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory. Must be able to get on ladders and lift up to 50ilbs. Must be able run cables over drop ceilings and walls. Certification a plus, will also assist in other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
MIS Support Technician must have good technical trouble shooting skills, be creative, familiar with the different types of cabling - data, phone, audio, and video. Technician must be able to understand schematics and floor plans. Able to use AC/DC meters and other testing tools. Knowledge of Egress and video systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred. Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Good oral and writing skills; must be a team player; Safety conscious a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to use and climb ladders. Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
