REACH Child Prevention Supervisor 

Description

The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority has a full-time position available for a REACH Clinical Supervisor-Prevention to perform administration, supervision, administrative and clinical oversight of the REACH Clinical (Prevention) Team in HPR-IV.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the implementation of REACH Preventative services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and intense behavioral needs.

  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision to REACH Coordinators. Engages Multi-Disciplinary Team as needed to ensure full team involvement in oversight and clinical guidance on cases as appropriate.

  • Coordinates team meetings with REACH Clinical Team members.

  • Assures fidelity to the REACH Standards and model as defined by DBHDS.

  • Reviews clinical assessments and treatment plans for quality assurance purposes.

  • Ensures collection of data and completion of documentation required by local, state, and federal regulations by all team members in a timely manner.

  • Serves as Administrator On Duty in on-call rotation.

  • Ensures that Preventative services are maximized to prevent inappropriate hospitalizations and negative outcomes for known and unknown clients of REACH.

  • Ensure Non-Emergent referral and intake processes are completed within required timelines.

  • Ensure all staff documentation is completed within the required timelines set by DBHDS and DMAS.

  • Performs related work as required.

 
Position Requirements

 

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field

  • Current VA license as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT or license-eligible candidates required.

  • Experience in intellectual and developmental disabilities, including programming for individuals with significant behavioral needs

  • 1 or more years' supervisory experience including at least 1-year experience in an intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health setting

  • Working Knowledge of the Virginia DBHDS and CSB/BHA network.

    Special Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia

  • Community work required

Starting Salary Range Supervisor I $54,001.98 / Supervisor II $59,537.18
