Residential Coordinator 

Description

Summary of Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assists staff in assimilating to the Agency’s and department’s policies and procedures, documentation standards, and program requirements
  • Engages in program-related performance improvement processes and activities
  • Provides support for team members
  • Conducts ongoing assessment of clients by exhibiting knowledge of age specific population, developmental level and diagnosis
  • Coordinates benefits & entitlements for clients and collaborations between the agency's benefits coordinator and the department as well as other outside agencies including rental assistance, social security and the Bergen County Board of Social Services (BCBSS)
 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science area from an accredited college or university or five (5) years’ experience in behavioral health care field. Experience in mental health, residential and/or partial care services desirable.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Certified in CPNJ’s Rehabilitation Services Training
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance
