Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive):
This position will provide administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities to include budgeting, personnel records and payroll.
The Administrative Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
Support submitting quarterly and annual contractual reports to the customers.
Support a variety of documents to include: Briefing, Letters, Correspondents
Support GSA New England Region comprises the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, and also includes zonal area support in Puerto Rico.
Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the GSA office staff

Skills / Certifications:
Proficient in technology tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and efficient in Word
Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus
Customer service oriented; must be detail-oriented
Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills; build trusted partnership with internal and external customers
Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing environment
Ability to interface with all levels of management
Ability to work well independently or in a team setting
Fluent in speaking, reading and writing the English language
Education and Work Experience:
High School Degree or Associate of Arts Degree
2- to 15 years of experience as Government Contractor in Administrative role supporting GSA
Demonstrated ability to adapt and manage effectively in a fast-paced challenging environment and manage multiple, and often times competing priorities
Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision under a system of discipline and accountability
Experience working with GSA Region 1
