Registered Nurse - IA FLOAT

Description

We are now seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Care Coordinator Float for our Iowa clinics. This RN role is designed to aid providers, other clinical staff, and educating parents/guardians/patients in our community while following established standards and practice within the parameters of the Nurse Practice Acts of the States of Iowa and Illinios.

  • Performs role of Registered Nurse (RN), utilizing the skills and knowledge of licensure to the fullest capacity within their scope of practice, as defined by Iowa/Illinois State Laws, Nurse Practice Acts and CHC, to ensure RN role is maximized within the patient care team.
  • Health Coaching, Care Coordination/Management of our patients.
  • Provide clinical expertise to medical staff to provide coordinated, safe, high quality care.
  • Participates in internal meetings, in-service training sessions and e-learning as scheduled.
  • Follows organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of CHC’s Mission Statements and Standards of Behavior in performing all aspects of this position.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors, and fellow employees. Strives to build cooperative partnerships, by treating each person inside and outside of the organization as a customer.
  • Utilizes AIDET and 10/5 Rule with all patients and visitors.
  • Handles confidential information with tact and discretion on a need-to-know basis as specified in CHC’s policies.
  • Participates in maintaining departmental continuous quality improvement and actively participates in performance improvement projects.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are required as outlined in CHC’s No Fault Attendance Policy.
  • Follows established policies and procedures for safety, infection and exposure control.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
