Position Title: Night Auditor

Our night auditors are a crucial part of our team and the guest experience, providing overnight support to guests and an accurate reporting of the day’s activities and accounts. Night auditors are responsible for preparing, balancing and auditing all daily postings and transmittals of property revenues. This position is responsible for ensuring that all guest service standards are maintained at the front desk, assists guests with questions and requests and assists with check-ins and check-outs.
Duties / Tasks:
Enter the workplace at scheduled time, in uniform and ready to begin work.
Provide consistently superior service to our guests at all times.
Develop & maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to achieve common goals.
Provide information about the resort and local area and respond to guest requests and concerns. Explain resort facilities, their location within the resort & hours of operation.
Ensure the prescribed amount of cash is on hand by counting and recording count.
Ensure that the pool and other doors have been locked according to company policy, lock doors if required, and ensure they are unlocked at the appropriate time.
Ensure telephone service meets company standards. Telephone answered within three rings, using the proper script. Transfer calls properly, perform wake up calls, take messages politely and never give out a room number.
Properly check guests in and out and handle reservations.
Ensure property management computer procedures are correctly implemented.
Assist with cleanliness of the front desk and lobby.
Run night audit daily using Springer Miller Systems (training provided) and process and post charges, including credit card transactions.
Ensure that wake up calls are set on the phone.
Check and approve all stay-online charges.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum one year hotel related supervisory experience. Accounting procedure training, cash handling & other administrative experience required.
High school diploma / GED - required.
Must be friendly and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a calm, courteous demeanor and positive, upbeat attitude with guests and coworkers.
Must be comfortable working alone, self-motivated & able to work without supervision.
Basic accounting, computer & organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
Must speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace and by the guests.
Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
Must be willing and able to work graveyard shifts, including holidays.

Full time and part time available
Graveyard shift
Weekdays, weekends & holidays
Physical:
This job requires grasping, writing, counting, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive movements, verbal communications and visual acuity. On occasion, may be required to lift up to 40 pounds.
