We are looking for experienced and qualified individuals for a System Shipping Preparation Assembler.   This position offers a unique opportunity to finalize complex laser system assemblies and pack the systems for shipment. It is based in Palo Alto, CA. and works under the direct supervision of the manufacturing manager and/or manufacturing leads.   Job Duties: Prepare system sub-assemblies Install system panels and attachments Install labels, covers and caps Prepare cables and clean outer surfaces Perform final quality check against the shipping checklist and the sales order Prepare system and accessories for crating Crate systems for shipment Uncrate field returned systems Prepare shipping documents Trigger orders for shipping supplies and materials   Position Requirements Skills Required: Experience with hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies Keen eye for quality flaws, paperwork errors, missing and wrong parts, etc. Ability to work under pressure of meeting shipping deadlines Able to work independently, with minimal supervision Able to quickly adjust priorities without compromising quality or productivity   General Requirements: Sit, stand, push, pull, reach, stoop, kneel without difficulty, as needed to perform job functions Able to lift up to 50 pounds several times per day   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position System Final Prep Assembler/Shipping Clerk   Location Palo Alto (HQ)   About the Organization SCITON is an industry leader and manufacturer of medical aesthetic lasers and light source technologies.
