Location Tulsa, OK  

Under minimum supervision, performs accounting functions according to established procedures, as assigned by the Controller. This position has internal contact with all company staff, and may have contact with external customers, marketing, accounts receivable and accounts payable departments. Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:



Prepares and verifies the entering of journal entries to the general ledger.

Executes monthly closing journal entries to the general ledger.

Performs monthly analysis of assigned balance sheet accounts.

Makes recommendations regarding chart of accounts and structures when new accounts are required.

Interfaces with the marketing department for charter programs. Prepares billing and reconciles charter programs with the customer at program completion.

Assists in reviewing and updating monthly closing procedures.

Reviews supporting schedules to ensure that the Company’s accounting practices are being maintained.

Coordinates daily release of funds from the escrow account to the operating account for charter flights flown.

Reviews accounts receivable aging reports and follows up accordingly on any issues found. Communicates with customers regarding their accounts.

Prepares and maintains detailed reports of deferred revenue.

Assists with year-end financial statement audit.

Reviews and documents present accounting practices and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements


Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. 

Strong computer skills including Excel spreadsheet and MSWord processing software. 

Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and to establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple activities.

Ability to maintain stability under pressure or opposition. 

Sets high personal standards of performance. 

Team player willing to assist others as available

Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting is required

Minimum 3 years work experience in an accounting or auditing role

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, practices, and procedures



Ability to demonstrate effective cross-departmental communication.

Contact with all levels of personnel within company, vendors and customers. 

Works closely with the Accounts Payable Department, Corporate Controller and Vice-president of Finance and Accounting on a daily basis.

High degree of eye and hand usage with computer monitor and keyboard



Requires ability to handle numerous activities at once and complete in a timely manner

Must be able to work with limited supervision and possess an impeccable attention to detail

Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication
