This position is not currently funded and is pursuant on MCSG being awarded this contract.

Job Summary: Support the Joint Education and Training Division for the Space Operations Force. Includes the development of courseware materials and curriculum, and providing instruction. Planning, development, execution, and analysis of Command-wide training, education, professional development, organizational development programs and processes, and managing projects in the Joint Training System. Furthermore, support includes the Workforce Onboarding and Development Program. In addition, support is required to plan, prepare, and execute individual and collective training for the operational certification of JOC crews, as well as support the collective training for USSPACECOM members. All curriculum, courseware materials, and instructions will be at the direction, review, and approval of the unit government entity. USSPACECOM requires specialized instructors and critical support personnel capable of successfully executing the USSPACECOM mission. Support individual training through administration of the USSPACECOM Training Program.

Primary Duties:

  • Assist the government in the planning, preparation, maintenance/updating, and execution of: collective periodic training events (e.g., Space Integrated Training events). Prepare and update all training materials and scenarios including administrative data, agenda, scenarios, intelligence, injects, operations orders, messages, data collection forms, and other pertinent information.
  • Support the government in the design, planning, rehearsal, and conduct of all Space Integrated Training events.
  • Support the government in the coordination, integration, and execution of Space Integrated Training, demonstrations, Tabletop Exercises (TTX), mini- exercises, or wargame events.
  • Provide Joint Event Control Group (JECG) augmentation and support the JECG during training, exercises, TTXs, and wargame events.
  • Support the government in the design, planning, rehearsal, and conduct of CJCS Staff Assessment Visit (SAV) training events.
  • Provide feedback for after-action reviews; recommend improvements for follow-on Space Integrated Training events; prepare and conduct hotwash briefings; and prepare and deliver after action reports in standard command memo format.
  • Create and prepare media which may include administrative data, agenda, scenarios, operations orders, messages, data collection forms, and other pertinent information.
  • Create and manage inputs for Joint Master Task List (JMETS) and integrate with Universal Joint Task List. Coordinate assessment of Master Tasks and subordinate tasks in applicable systems (such as JTIMS).
  • Provide exercise observers, trainers, assessors, facilitators, and role-players, as required.
  • Prepare and update communications data for all training events and scenarios.
  • Coordinate, schedule, maintain, test, and configure equipment systems of the Joint Training and Exercise Control Center (JTECC), WGC, and Directorate conference rooms.
  • Provide JECG augmentation during training, exercises, wargames, TTXs, and real-world event preparation to assist with scenarios and products related to training.
  • Provide communications facilitators and role players, as required.
  • Support execution of the Joint Training & Execution System.
  • Track and report status of key products and milestones.
 
Position Requirements

Experience: 10 years of relevant experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
