Share Email Opening Title Analyst - Quality Assurance (2020-043)  Astronics Subsidiary AES   Location Kirkland, WA   Description JOB SUMMARY In this entry-level Analyst role within our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for the following quality activities involving quality assurance compliance and conformance to internal, customer and applicable regulatory requirements; conducts internal audits, maintain and manage the Company’s FAA PMA and STC processes, analysis and reporting of customer quality trends, manage the Company’s employee certification and record databases, review contracts for Quality and Environmental requirements, and analyze/report on various quality metrics. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Plan internal Quality audits – auditing and following up with the proper corrective action. Provide data analysis of QA metrics identifying trends for further investigation or corrective action. Respond, research and prepare customer quality systems surveys. Prepare presentations for quality including trending and tracking for management reports. Coordinate and analyze customer satisfaction data. Review contract documents for Quality System terms and conditions (i.e. SQAR, packaging, labeling, CofC, customer notification requirements, MRB requirements, etc.). Manage a variety of company databases, coordinate associated duties and provide analysis as required. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Proficient in all MS Office products, database query and data analysis, basic statistical understanding and advanced use of Excel features like Pivot tables with the ability to effectively present information to a variety of audiences. ISO/AS9100 audit training (lead auditor and FAA training –long term) and understanding of AS9100 system quality requirements. Working knowledge of the FAA’s PMA and STC processes. Education/Experience: BS in STEM related major. Demonstrates awareness (typically <1 year of direct experience) in the essential functions of the position).   ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
