The care manager will work with consumers open to protective services and will need to complete a 3-day on-line training to become certified to complete protective services investigations. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the majority of the workday is spent remotely completing work assignments at the individual’s home. Appropriate PPE will be provided to care manager by CCDAS in the event a face-to-face visit is required. The Protective Service Care Manager position is responsible for providing assessment, care planning, service coordination and performance of ongoing care management tasks for vulnerable consumers who are in need of protection including those in need of mental health case management services who may be difficult to manage and who have difficulty maintaining a safe and healthful independent lifestyle.   Position Requirements BSW 1 year of direct aging care management experience and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university which includes or is supplemented by 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences. Valid driver’s license and use of a private vehicle. PA FBI, PA Child Abuse and PA Criminal clearances (date of clearances not to exceed 90 days prior to assignment begin date.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
