We are seeking a Information Technology / Information Security Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate willl:

  • Provide support in areas of administrative and security services, policy and implementation.
  • Provide direct support to the PEO Aircraft Carriers Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO) in the areas of IT/IA/IS/IM, to include:
  • Assist with development of NMCI Seat Order packages, including financial tracking.
  • Monitor installed NMCI inventory and confirm the configuration delivered and invoiced.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain NMCI and other IT equipment databases.
  • Assist with development/management of NMCI data calls.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide paperwork preparation and disposal services of all PEO Carriers IT equipment, both classified and unclassified.
  • Interface with PEO Aircraft Carriers IDE Team.
  • Monitor overall PEO Aircraft Carriers IT Operations. Serve as focal point for network/ desktop problem resolution that escalate beyond normal help desk capability.
  • Address and resolve network and desktop related issues.
  • Maintain and monitor system architecture and software licenses for PEO Aircraft Carrier legacy applications.
  • Provide user assistance/training for miscellaneous hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Support IT spillage cleanup efforts.
  • Assist with network system upgrades across all PEO assigned seats and assets.
  • Manage PEO Aircraft Carrier moves/floorplans/buildouts with NAVSEA Operations through the contract process for IT operations.
  • Prepare and process all Network Authorization Data Access Request Forms for reporting personnel.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Master's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in systems administration.
  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite. 

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience providing network users with IT related support.
  • Experience developing IT budgets and exhibits.
  • Experience with the Installation, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting and interface support of Program Office IT software, LANs, WANs and connective to enterprise information systems
  • Experience with DoD Information Assurance & Cybersecurity compliance regulations
