Share Email Opening Title Test Engineer 1 (2020-039)  Astronics Subsidiary AES   Location Kirkland, WA   Description JOB SUMMARY The main objectives for the Test Engineer are the development of acceptable qualification test plans, procedures, and reports while conducting successful hardware qualification test activities. Additionally, provide support to design engineering in conducting hardware development tests and evaluation of test data. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide direct support to development engineers in environmental development testing and provide guidance on test setups and proper test methods. Develop acceptable qualification test plans, procedures, and reports. Act as Qualification Test Coordinator for new or existing product qualification test activity. This includes scheduling labs, coordinating with Quality and Regulatory personnel for test witnessing, and directing engineering and technical personnel in the root cause and correct action analysis process for qualification test failures. Design and direct the engineering technical personnel in fabrication of test fixturing and equipment in the support of environmental qualification testing. This includes preparation and release of test fixture design documentation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or other technical discipline ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
