Share Email Opening Title Facility Technician  Location Lansing, MI - Maintenance   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Pay Rate   Shift Days   Close Date   Description SUMMARY OF POSITION This position will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining Dean buildings and property. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and make various building repairs Perform general office maintenance Report to and assist facility manager with projects Perform maintenance inspections Perform some snow removal and lawn maintenance Assist with some janitorial duties Create and close out work orders performed in building system Assign outside vendors and assist them when on site Assist other departments with special projects Maintain a clean and safe work environment Adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules. Adhere to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for safe job performance Travel to other facilities throughout the State of Michigan as needed Other duties as needed   Position Requirements SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED Meet all general qualifications for employment Meet company and state standards for driving record check Meet company standards for criminal history check Pass physical and drug screening Possess knowledge of general building maintenance Ability to work well in team environment Ability to work well with minimal supervision Ability to multi task and prioritize workload Demonstrate safe and neat work habits Possess exceptional customer service skills Demonstrate an excellent attendance record and be available for occasional overtime as needed Demonstrate willingness to take on various tasks based on daily demand and be highly motivated Possess strong organizational skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to climb stairs while pulling a dolly Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 45 pounds Ability to frequently bend, stoop, climb stairs, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder height and twist   This position is currently not accepting applications.
