This position is based in Palo Alto, CA. and reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned) Responsible for performing a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations. Follow work instructions and manufacturing process instructions in performing standard tasks such as component installation, electrical wiring, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and building and testing of related sub-assemblies. Perform system assembly and sub-assembly and testing in accordance with engineering specifications and ISO and FDA regulations. An attention to detail and an interest in working on state-of-the-art laser systems are essential in this position. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with safety standards and PPE protocols (including face masks, safety eyewear and gloves), product methods and manufacturing rules and regulations.   Position Requirements Qualifications / Skills: Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination are required. Ability to reach, bend, push, pull and lift up to 15 pounds several times each day. Knowledge of and ability to properly use a wide variety of manual and electric hand tools. Experience and Education: Automotive mechanical experience a plus. AA diploma desired.
