Ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a high-volume setting. Hours:This is 40 hour weekly position Position Responsibilities/Duties: Greet and room patients Obtain and document patient medical history, vital signs, current medications, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens in EHR Prepares patient for exam Maintain supplies in each exam room Responsible for scheduling Dr. appointments and follow up appointments Assists physicians with exams and treatments Educates and advises patients on specified medical issues within established parameters Data entry of client measures into clinical record Creates reports and provides info as required by EHR regulation Medication prior authorizations Perform other tasks as assigned by the Medical Staff Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies. Care coordination   Position Requirements At least 1 year of experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or primary care setting, Mental Health setting preferred Diploma or certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program Must hold current and valid RMA or CMA Updated CPR Bi-Lingual preferred Familiarity with medical terminology Strong computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent ~cb   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Weekly Work Hours 40   Proposed Salary $17-$18/hr   Schedule Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm  This position is currently not accepting applications.
