We are seeking a Business Financial Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Interface with Navy Field activities, headquarters organizations and Contractors to assist the program manager in the effective execution of approved program budgets.
  • Review Presidential, DON, and BES/OSD Budget Estimate submissions for accuracy, completeness, and content.
  • Develop and track budgets.
  • Develop inputs for Navy budget.
  • Consolidate and justify budgets.
  • Prepare, analyze, and submit POM inputs.
  • Track budget execution.
  • Work with PARMs, APMs, and field activities.
  • Develop financial briefings.
  • Develop acquisition and other budget acquisitions.
  • Manage financial controls.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited institution. 
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in acquisition management support.
  • Navy business financial management experience.
  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is  prerequisite. 

 

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • DoD/Navy ACAT I Program Experience
  • Recent Contracts experience
  • DoD 5000.02 knowledge
  • Shipbuilding knowledge
  • Experience with Navy ERP, NEPS, and PBIS.
