Position Title: Guest Services Representative / Reservations
Reports to: Operations Manager - Rooms
Black Rock Mountain Resort is a brand new, one of a kind condo-hotel development perfectly situated adjacent to the Jordanelle Reservoir in Park City, Utah. Our Guest Services Representatives are an integral part of our team, serving as the guests primary point of contact during their experience at our resort. Our Guest Services Representatives are responsible for ensuring that all guest service standards are maintained at the front desk, assisting guests with questions and requests, assisting with check-ins and check-outs and providing local insight and information to visitors.
Duties / Tasks:
Enter the workplace at scheduled time, in uniform and ready to begin work.
Provide consistently superior service to our guests at all times.
Develop & maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to achieve common goals.
Provide information about the resort and local area and respond to guest requests and concerns. Explain resort facilities, their location within the resort & hours of operation.
Ensure the prescribed amount of cash is on hand by counting and recording count.
Ensure telephone service meets company standards. Telephone answered within three rings, using the proper script. Transfer calls properly, perform wake up calls, take messages politely and never give out a room number.
Properly check guests in and out, answer questions and handle reservations.
Ensure property management computer procedures are correctly implemented (Springer Miller Systems - training provided).
Assist with cleanliness of the front desk, lobby, corridors and elevators.
Assist with laundry needing completion. Fold linen, dry linen and wash linen as needed.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous related guest service or hospitality experience - preferred.
High school diploma / GED - required.
Must be friendly and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a calm, courteous demeanor and positive, upbeat attitude with guests and coworkers.
Must speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace and by the guests.
Flexible, adaptable, self-motivated and able to work well with or without supervision.
Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
Hours & Schedule:
Full time and part time available
Days & hours may vary based on business needs
Weekdays, weekends & holidays
This job requires grasping, writing, counting, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive movements, verbal communications and visual acuity. On occasion, may be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
