In-Service Aircraft Carrier Program Support Manager

We are looking for an experienced In-Service Aircraft Carrier Program Support Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide support for a variety of activities related to the acquisition, modernization, and life cycle management support of Aircraft Carriers and their embedded systems.
  • Provide direct support for managers of ship construction, overhaul, modernization, and inactivation and disposal programs.
  • Provide direct support to programs to deliver key Aircraft Carrier-based technologies such as aircraft launch and recovery systems, aviation support systems, integrated warfare systems, combat systems, C4I systems, and integrated networks.
  • Maintain existing aircraft carriers.
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of acquisition experience; including 4 years of experience in a program of similar complexity.
  • Experience maintaining existing aircraft carriers. 
  • An active Secret security clearance. 
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.


Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with US Navy Aircraft Carriers disposal or inactivation, or disposal or inactivation in other Navy ship programs.
  • DoD/Navy ACAT I Program Experience.
  • Recent Contracts experience.
  • DoD 5000.02 knowledge.
  • Shipbuilding knowledge.
