We are looking for an experienced Acquisition Management Support SME to join our team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will:

  • Support the acquisition, production, and deployment of all products and services acquired.
  • Coordinate and assist with developing and drafting contract-related procurement documentation for the acquisition of hardware, associated R&D, maintenance, and support, as well as provide daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior-level executives.
  • Provide overall management and supervision of the acquisition team and provide assistance to Technical Advisory Reports (TAR).
  • Facilitate all actions in awarding and managing contracts and documentation, including Acquisition Strategy and Acquisition Plans.
  • Assist in inputting all procurement requests into the automated Standard Procurement System (SPS); evaluate and propose acquisition process improvements; and, conduct risk analysis to current and planned contracts, recommending mitigation to potential risks.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution within a related industry.
  • 7 or more years professional experience in acquisition management support.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. 
  • US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

 

Desired Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution within a related field. 
  • 10 or more years of  professional experience in acquisition management support.
  • Familiarity with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales.
