The Program Office Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Principle will provide ISSO support in the accreditation of systems and applications utilizing the eMASS tool as the repository for artifacts and POA&Ms. eMASS must also be used to track the status of all system accreditations.

Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Review, prepare, and update RMF authorization packages and other security documents as required.
  • Performs Information System Security controls assessments as part of the systems’ Continuous Monitoring Plan.
  • Work closely with Government customers to ensure that the IA requirements are defined and implemented in a way that allows for the accreditation of the IA architecture.
  • Identifies system security controls shortcomings and annotates POA&M entries for deficient items, playing a vital role with remediating control deficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot the Mission Planning Environment and hardware and explain solutions to users.
  • Provide user support for numerous devices and maintain updated software/hardware configurations.
  • Train users on mission planning and execution software applications.
  • Maintain network servers and client computers with current imagery.
  • Provide local and remote support for IT systems and the software associated with these systems.
  • Conduct network centric system administration of user systems.
  • Provide intuitive solutions for ever changing user support requests.
  • Integrate enterprise communications architecture with tactical networking devices.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Will have experience with ACAS/Nessus and mitigating scanning reports.
  • Will have experience implementing STIGs or equivalent.
  • Will require a strong software developer’s level of understanding of Windows operating systems and/or Android mobile operating systems.
  • Will possess expert level of knowledge of mission planning networking hardware and software; SIPRNET and NIPRNET; communications (classified/unclassified networks and device procedures)
  • Will require senior-level software development experience with Windows .NET framework and Powershell.
  • Will have a strong understanding of ATAK/WINTAK and US Army Nett Warrior mobile software frameworks.
  • Will be knowledgeable of mission planning set-up and teardown procedures and mission planning & execution environment software loading and image creation.
  • Will possess an expert knowledge of applying security policy, procedures, and protective measures.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • A+ CE, CCNA – Security, Network+, or SSCP highly desired.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance: Top Secret security clearance required.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
