Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist supports Financial Operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position works through and with available resources to ensure accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to process a high volume of invoices weekly
  • Tracking subcontractor compliance, signed certificate of insurance, 1099 documents
  • Working in conjunction with warehouse and project management for approvals and supporting documentation for invoices
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Tracking and credit card payments
  • Assigning invoices to responsible approver
  • Responding to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor invoices
  • Producing cash disbursement requirements weekly

Scanning Accounts Payable invoices and check requests

 
Position Requirements

SKILLS:

  • Candidate must possess effective internal and external communications skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy in their work
  • Candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Experience with Vista by Viewpoint software preferred, but not required
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion dealing with sensitive documents and information
  • 3+ years of experience in a Accounts Payable/Finance environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
  • Available to work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
