Description

Social Work p.r.n. is seeking BSWs to work as part time On-Call Advocates with survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Positions are 20 hours/week, M-F 4pm-8pm, in addition to being a part of an on-call rotation to cover weekends every three weeks.

These are direct hire entry level positions, which is reflected in the rate of pay.

The On-Call Advocates will provide advocacy, emotional support, and safety planning to those who identify or are identified as survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and sex trafficking. Primarily, the advocate will provide support services to survivors at hospitals, police departments, or at other locations in the community as appropriate. Advocates will need to keep an open flexible schedule to meet the needs of the community, survivors, and agency. The advocate will work, as part of a rotation, on weekends starting on Friday evening, and ending Monday morning. Advocate will receive a base pay for standby hours for the weekend, regardless of if they are dispatched to a hospital or police department.
