Area Sales Manager - Kansas City, MO (Remote)

Purpose of Position

The position is responsible for the sales of all Sciton products within the Kansas City, MO territory. This is a remote position and requires heavy travel. The position reports to the Sales Director, Central.

Position Requirements

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for prospecting, customer presentations, product demonstrations, and closing sales transactions with customers
  • Individual will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies for elevating sales
  • Perform marketing research and manage the territory
  • Handle post-sale customer support
  • Work with Field Service, and all areas of corporate staff


Experience and Education

  • Minimum 5 years direct sales experience
  • 3 to 5 years demonstrated success in selling capital equipment
  • Must be a self-starter, results driven, highly organized, with the ability to establish relationships quickly
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions in clear, concise, and easy to understand presentations
  • Understand Return on Investment selling methodology
  • Experience selling to Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons and Aesthetic Physicians is preferred, but not required
  • Customer Service driven and interface with all levels of customers
  • Heavy traveling is required for this position
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or science
