Share Email Opening Title Project Specialist  Description This position will support Allegacy’s Digital Transformation, be a member of the Technology Team, and will report to the IT Business Operations Manager.  The ideal candidate is expected to be hands-on, have high proficiency in professional project management methodologies, as well as experience managing project expectations, scope, risk and changes.  Key competencies needed for this position include the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ability to communicate directly and clearly and an understanding of PMO processes.  The potential candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), an ability to handle multiple projects, work well under pressure and effectively lead and partner with teams throughout the organization. Responsibilities: Lead diverse multidisciplinary teams to deliver set objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with project team members. Maintain the scope of the project in collaboration with project owner and manage project scope through a structured project management process. Work with business owners and others on the Technology team to gather project and/or system requirements and communicate to key stakeholders Work with outside partners to coordinate resources, deliverables, and identify, manage, and communicate risk. Manage project communication by ensuring timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination and storage of project information. Prepare project status updates and project dashboards to keep stakeholders informed of risks, projects status and related issues. Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional project management experience. Strong process knowledge of information technology from an application, database, server, networking and operating systems perspective. Knowledge of business continuance, high availability, disaster restart/recovery and other IT best practices concepts as they relate to business practices Recent experience with a banking core conversion or large ERP implementation required Proven ability to influence and lead project direction to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget CAPM or PMP certification preferred Proactive, personal drive, decisiveness, business acumen, excellent communication and teamwork skills, organizational competency and the ability to prioritize. Ability to work cross functionally and encourage cooperation among different departments. Ensure thorough understanding of expectations and consistently exhibit Allegacy behaviors. Collaborative approach to complex issues, leadership and problem solving Experience with Microsoft Office software, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint.     Position Requirements 3-5 years of professional project management experience.
