Position Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) Specialist  
Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time  
Base Wage $12.50 per hour  
Description

This Office Assistant position supports the day-to-day functions of Child Care Resource and Referral of Midwestern Illinois by providing clerical support by processing paperwork to determine eligibility for the Illinois Department of Human Services's Child Care Assistance Program and support of childcare provider eligibility and tracking activities.

This is an entry level position but with high attention to detail and compliance. 

The hours are Monday - Friday, 1:00 - 5:00 pm.  

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Scan and validate Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) paperwork in the database system - Child Care Management System (CCMS).
  • Compile, organize and process paperwork for shipment.
  • File and organize paperwork.
  • Print faxes and meter mail.
  • Data entry into state system.
