Cambridge Management, Inc is hiring an IT Support Specialist to ensure that computer hardware and software, as well as networks and servers, work consistently and correctly. The IT Support Specialist role will install programs, configure networks, and provide assistance to end users. They tend to focus on one or more areas of IT support, such as information security, or end users support so they can work efficiently without jeopardizing the security of the corporate network. They will also troubleshoot, with remote assistance tools, end user issues by connecting directly to the community computers.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Install and configure networks
  • Provide End user support to all Cambridge Employees
  • Manage Information Security
  • Perform Helpdesk support
  • Troubleshoot Computer Systems and Hardware
  • Activate/Deactivate Smartphones for Corporate and Community devices.
  • Create users in a Microsoft Active Directory Environment
  • Create users in Property Management Software using a Title/Role base for user assignments
  • User assignments in Property Management software
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hardware and software configuration on MS Windows
  • Information Security practices and procedures
  •  Attention to detail
  • Time Management
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience with Remote assistance tools
  • Good Communication Skills – in person, email and phone
  • Lift up to 60lbs

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in Microsoft Windows operating system
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Office Products
