Description

Bilingual Lead Clinical Director needed for full-time, direct hire position in Burlington County. This position comes with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Program Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the entire Clinical Department and supervises Lead Clinicians
  • Supervises the Medical Department and supervises the RN Nurse Manager
  • Supervises the Case Management Department and the Senior Lead Case Manager
  • Infuses a Nurtured Heart clinical treatment environment in all aspects of the program through modeling, training, teaching, mentoring staff.
  • Ensures evidence-based trauma-informed care and interventions for each UC youth.
  • Coordinates clinical services for all UC youth.
  • Recruits, supervises and trains therapists, nurse, lead case manager, and other lead clinical staff.
  • Leads treatment team and facilitates coordination between all disciplines within program (Nurse, Lead Case Manager and Clinicians) to ensure timely reunification and safe, timely and child friendly short-term shelter.
  • Teaches, models and trains clinical staff to ensure trauma informed therapeutic counseling within required timelines for all UAC.
  • Ensures appropriate partnerships for Psychiatry and other specialty clinical services through approved ORR partners.
  • Ensures systems are in placed so that reviews are completed on all treatment plans, intakes, progress and other documentation related to treatment to ensure best practice and compliance with ORR and COA regulations.
  • Acts as liaison with ORR, immigration courts, service providers, family members in difficult cases.
  • Addresses grievances of clients, family members, staff or other involved persons.
  • Documents treatment progress to ORR and ensures compliance with ORR portal and updates notes and incidents or other involved persons.
  • Models teamwork and staff appreciation with all components of the program
  • Handles on-call responsibilities of administrator-on-call/ and ensures a rotating Clinical, medical and case management
  • Provides co-therapy on specialized situations and covers for Lead Clinicians, when indicated
  • On-call rotation for 24 hours for clinical intervention for UC youth, as needed.
 
Position Requirements

NJ LCSW with 2-5 years of experience working with the program population or relevant direct service delivery, along with experience in individual, groups, and family therapy for youth and families, preferably in a residential setting. Bilingual in Spanish/English written and verbal.
