Description

Koniag Government Services is looking for an Email Systems Administrator to join our team in support of a federal client located in Fort Collins, CO. Pursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are a member of a Federally Recognized Native American Tribe.

Essential Functions:

  • Email Administrator will provide tier 2/3 expertise to support email administration and related services to ensure the availability and functionality of the production systems.
  • Work is accomplished according to established priorities and procedures. Performs team activities, completes the technical assignments,
  • Perform core AD infrastructure duties for O365 (exchange admin center)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tier 1 and 2 trouble tickets
  • Create, manage, and support new O365 email account
  • Create, delete, update and grant access to O365 distribution groups as requested
  • Create, delete, update, and grant access to O365 shared mailbox as requested
  • Create and manage mail-in databases in AD/O365
  • Remove access for terminated users
  • SMTP server access logfiles
  • Reset mobile device with MFA
  • Manage shared O365 calendars for customers request for access
  • Test two factor authentication on mobile devices
  • Help configure IMAP settings
  • Support SOL messaging OU
  • Messaging replication schemes, mail routing, message tracing and tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Manipulating permissions at the server, database and document level,
  • Manual creation and manipulation of server configuration items, end-users, groups and generic accounts,
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Active Directory experience
  • Experience with government email migrations
  • Must have experience with end user support and obtain the abilities to provide excellent customer service. Advanced knowledge of mail server configurations, mail routing and mail protocols.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management – Maas360 and BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, perform simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
