Share Email Opening Title Psychiatric Emergency Support Specialist - PESP  Description Bergen County Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program is a program of CarePlus New Jersey. purpose of the Screening Program is to provide emergency mental health services throughout Bergen County. CarePlus New Jersey is seeking Full-time and Part-time professional and qualified Psychiatric Emergency Support Specialists. Various schedules are available; comprised of day, evening, overnight and weekend hours. Responsibilities: Answer crisis hotline; conduct assessments under the supervision of a Certified Mental Health Screener; provide crisis outreach; monitor and supervise clients in the Screening Center. Qualifications: Possess either a MA degree in a mental health related field OR A BA degree in mental health related field plus 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric setting OR Licensure as a Registered Nurse Possess excellent computer skills Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy Must have the ability to handle crisis situations, in a fast paced environment   Position Requirements   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Location PESP-Paramus   About the Organization CarePlus New Jersey is a northern New Jersey provider of recovery-focused mental health, substance abuse, and family services that address the unique needs of individuals with a holistic approach to recovery and overall wellness.
