What You Would Be Doing
Under the direction of the Executive Vice President, the Director is responsible for leading the program team to meet sales goals and outreach efforts to the community to establish Boundless as a leading provider of IDD and behavioral health services. Partners with marketing and communications to share information, coordinate resources, and present Boundless services within established marketing guidelines and branding. The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating, and inspiring them to achieve results.

While the job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people.

  • Works with the Executive Vice President, program managers, and marketing & communications to develop a marketing strategy for the organization in relation to program sales and outreach.
  • Supervises, trains, and manages the performance of sales and outreach for programs by staff ensuring proper sales and marketing protocols are being followed.
  • Coaches program managers to assist with meeting program growth objectives.
  • Conducts presentations to prospective clients, gathers information, updates the lead tracking system, and determines appropriate follow up.
  • Completes initial fact-finding with prospects and works with Executive Vice President, program managers, and marketing to obtain desired outcomes.
  • Maintains excellent business relationships with area agencies, providers and county, and state government to facilitate referrals to the organization’s programs.
  • Meets, calls, and makes presentations to prospects to meet sales goals on a monthly basis and monitors efforts of program staff to ensure that he or she is doing the same.
  • Oversees the acquisition of contracts and contract development to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Develops and monitors sales and outreach budget, works with the Executive Vice President to develop competitive incentives for prospects and the program team.

  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures, identifying and immediately reporting any potential or actual unsafe acts or conditions to the Executive Vice President. Follows all safety precautions, including the use of necessary devices or equipment, to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Familiarity with standard CRM software.
  • Complies with all Boundless policies and procedures.

Supervisory Requirements:

This position is directly responsible for the supervision of the Community Relationship Manager.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 5+ experience and/or training in marketing or sales preferably in a social service organization or medical industry.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven and measurable track record in sales.
  • The position requires a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.

Language and Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read and write English, analyze and interpret documents, such as marketing plans and sales analysis data reports. Ability to write routine correspondence and routine reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospects, people served, volunteers, or employees of the organization and the general public.
