The Athletic Services Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Athletic Services and Athletic Entrance while ensuring excellent member experience in their usage of the Club. Essential Responsibilities: Manages the Athletic Services and Athletic Entrance employees including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll Provides constant guidance, leadership and training to all employees through meetings, on the spot training, and guidelines Schedules appointments and accepts reservations in person and via the telephone for all athletic programs and Spa appointments Responsible for maintaining gift card log, equipment check-out logs, inventory and associated fees Responsible for writing the monthly staff schedule and ensuring that all shifts are covered Communicates with members directly and through the staff to ensure that members' needs are being met promptly and effectively. Troubleshoots conflicts to arrive at mutually agreeable solutions Accurately informs members of current club programs and services. Acts in the role of an athletic concierge and is watchful and attentive to activity in the surrounding area of the desk Develops policies and procedures for the Athletic Desk and Athletic Entrance to ensure consistent and high-quality service that satisfies members needs Prepared the annual budget and business plan for the Athletic Service Desk and monitors the progress throughout the year Works directly with Business Office to ensure necessary billing information is accurate and complete Assists in researching and resolving billing disputes between club members Attends staff meetings and training seminars as well as conducting department staff meetings and individual meetings in order to disseminate information and updates Responsible for effectively training employees in all aspects of their essential and additional job duties and responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club's policies and applicable laws.
