GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate performs a variety of essential routine warehouse duties and job assignments in support of the Companys warehouse operations.

DELIVERABLES/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes but not limited to the following:

  • Works under close supervision of Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Pulls and stages orders for shipment.
  • Measure, weigh and count the products before sending it for shipping.
  • Inspects, checks, verifies item count and correct items pulled and picked to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Packs the orders as picked by the pickers and prepare them for shipment.
  • Reports discrepancy on the item count or wrong item picked before packing the product for shipment.
  • Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records.
  • Labels, seals and prepares products for shipment.
  • Meets required departmental KPIs for picking and packing division.
  • Follows standard operating procedures required of picking and packing division of the warehouse operation.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of attendance based on the companys attendance policy.
  • Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities.
  • Keeps the picking and packing area safe, clean and organized.
  • Commitment to comply with company-wide policies, rules, regulations, best practices, culture and core values.
  • Committed availability to attend, participate and help out in company-sponsored events.
  • Performs and complete other related warehouse operational responsibilities or/and projects as assigned/necessary.
  • May be delegated, tested, or given an opportunity to be cross-trained for other duties from within or other departments for future potential lateral movements.
 
Position Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Reads and speaks the English language proficiently enough to communicate with co-workers: to understand and provide directions, to respond to management inquiries and to make entries on reports and records if needed.
  • Exhibits skills and attitude which demonstrate commitment to company policies, principles and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of simple math concepts.
  • Continuous effort at the level represented by the handling of light/medium weighted merchandise.
  • Requires standing, stooping, reaching and walking to do the job.
  • Requires the ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below the shoulder level.
  • Requires the ability to lift boxes up to fifty (50) pounds in weight on a daily basis.
  • Requires using the RF scanner, computer and/or computer software (Acctivate, Google Sheet, etc.) to attend to regular work.
  • Pays strict attention to details.
  • Well organized and commitment to maintain cleanliness and orderliness on workstation.
  • Admirable customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge, exposure and willingness to learn and be trained on software being used by the company.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fabulous multi-tasking ability and a fast learner.
  • Knowledge of Innex, Inc.’s distributed brands and products.
  • Able and willing to work long hours if necessary.
  • Ability to assist fellow team members if needed.
  • Can work independently and in a team setting/self-motivated.
  • Punctual, reliable and industrious.
  • Can work well under extreme pressure and deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and to be trained.
  • Must possess a standard level of professional integrity and admirable work ethics.
