Lakeview Village Independent Living Floor Technicians have the opportunity to create relationships with both fellow co-workers and community residents.

We offer a generous benefits package that begins the first of the month following 60 days of full-time service.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monday thru Friday-Pick up trash in assigned common areas, and offices of respective buildings.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas in assigned areas (halls, lobbies & entryways) twice a week.
  • Dust and wet-mop all floors and stairs once a week.
  • Clean dumpster area, fire stairs, resident storage and game room at N.P. when requested by supervisor
  • Assist in snow removal of entry areas and sidewalks, in event of a snow storm.
  • Strip, wax & buff floors and shampoo carpets as directed by supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel and other departments within the facility, to assure that housekeeping programs can be properly maintained to meet the needs of facility and residents.
  • Assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner for resident comfort and convenience.
  • Assure that work and assignment areas are clean and free of equipment, supplies, etc. before leaving such areas.
  • Attend and participate in in-service educational classes and on-the-job training programs.
 
Position Requirements
  • Ability to work independently; display a kind, courteous attitude, and work in a team-oriented setting with residents, relatives, staff and others.
  • GED or High School Graduation preferred.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, turn and/or twist when necessary.
  • Ability to climb up and walk down stairs.
  • Must be able to read written documents, including but not limited to, Hazardous Material’s labels, job checklists, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
