REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home Supervisor-Child

The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) Developmental Disability (DS) Division has an exciting opportunity for a Crisis Therapeutic Home Supervisor with the REACH program. The successful candidates will perform intermediate administrative work planning, organizing, directing and supervising the activities/functions of staff; providing guidance and/or developing logical processes to implement quality improvement actions that ensure required documentation in the individual medical records are in compliance with laws, regulatory bodies, HIPAA, Human Rights and Authority standards; ensures adequate staffing and training of the assigned REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH), ensures 24/7 services to individuals. Provides clinical oversight of the REACH Homes to ensure clinically appropriate services are being consistently implemented. Collaborates closely with REACH Quality Unit around billing to help maximize billing. Work is performed under the general direction of the REACH Residential Services Manager.

Essential Functions

Responsible for the implementation of REACH CTH and Transitional Home services and supports.

Provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Team Leads and Clinicians at this site.

Ensures that day programming for all participants at the REACH CTH and Transitional Homes are structured, evidence-based and clinically appropriate.

Supports transition planning for individuals utilizing REACH CTH and Transitional Home services.

Maintains linkages and relationships with community partners.

Attends all required meetings with Team Members, REACH Residential Services Manager, REACH Leadership, and clinical staff.

Assists in ensuring all necessary training and resources are available for the REACH CTH and Transitional Homes.

Ensures completion, accuracy and reporting of required data elements in accordance with designated timelines.

Communicates closely regarding current maintenance information to the REACH Residential Services Manager.

Participates in an on-call rotation supporting the REACH CTH and Transitional Homes.

Demonstrates strong knowledge and understanding of all licensing and agency requirements.

Ensures the REACH site meets licensing regulations regarding safety and health guidelines.

Supervises or participates in special projects as needed.

Performs related work as required.

 
Position Requirements

Education 

Requires a masters degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field and considerable experience providing community-based residential services including considerable supervisory experience. Candidate must have a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting with at least 3 years working with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities population. Candidate must meet qualifications as a LCSW, LPC, LCP. LMFT, or be licensed eligible. Crisis experience also preferred. Responsibilities will include supervisory on-call. Preference given to licensed behavioral health providers.

Must have a valid VA drivers license.

Starting Salary Range Program Supervisor I $54,001.98 Program Supervisor II $59,537.18 VA Licensed LCSW,LPC,LMFT and/or LCP
