GENERAL PURPOSE OF TEMPORARY POSITION

The Center for Analytics, Research & Development, and Data (CARDD) seeks temporary assistance with the cleaning and preliminary analyses of multiple data sets related to recent research projects. This assignment will be about 10-12 weeks and the person will be responsible for:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cleaning data sets, including identifying and removing duplicate lines of data, ensuring the response coding is consistent, and other related duties
  • Coding open-ended survey responses
  • Conducting preliminary analyses of the data sets in order to assist the team in planning further analyses and final research reports
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • A college degree or equivalent in a social science or data-related discipline, or a combination of academic study and experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience using SPSS and Excel
  • Prior experience in data cleaning and analyses
  • Familiarity with religion-related sociological research and data
