Position HR Recruiting Coordinator  

Duties and responsibilities in this position:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Receive requests from Leadership/HR Manager /Hiring Managers for new job availability and create job postings and positional agreements and put them up online and/or on other advertising media
  • Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations and employee referral programs.
  • Constantly source for applicants via LinkedIn and other social networking sites for suitable job profiles with required skills to establish connections for current and future candidate pools
  • Attend job fairs and other events to search for talent, travel to various locations near and far to find the best possible candidate.
  • Network and establish relationships with industry professionals
  • Evaluate applications, review resumes, conduct reference checks and complete initial phone interviews to establish a narrow candidate pool.
  • Proactively recruit candidates within a preset timeframe for continued business productivity that also mesh with the existing company culture
  • Make recommendations to hiring managers on the top candidates for in-person interviews.
  • Assist HR Manager with H-2B/visa worker program, to include, but not limited to, coordination with visa agency to provide documentation/information, assisting in arrival/departure of visa workers, keeping proper documentation and records, and coordination with management regarding conflicts or issues
  • Write offer letters and participate in negotiation over salary and job duties

Personnel Engagement & Retention:

  • Plan and coordinate all employee monthly meetings, annual picnic, annual parties, and other team engagement activities
  • Oversight and coordinator of additional employee perks such as, ice and vending machines, Gatorade/freeze ice during hot months of year, food for cookout, etc.
  • Work with HR Manager for delivery of employee and company communications and notifications
  • Assist HR Manager with developing and maintaining employee award and recognition programs

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage uniform tracking system and employee clothing purchases and credits; input new employees, issue uniforms according to position, weekly inventory, order new uniforms as needed (typically on a quarterly basis), guarantee proper billing
  • Update attendance tracker and calendar system by utilizing time tracking reports as well as requests regards to any scheduled or unscheduled time off weekly. Coordinate with HR Manager on attendance issues, corrective action needed
  • Manage onboarding process from recruitment through orientation
  • Manage employee incidents reporting and escalate to HR Manager is need be
  • Assist HR Manager with other duties and responsibilities as needed
