With such a variety of activities available, it should not come as a surprise that Kaukauna is also known as 'The Friendly City.'   Position Laborer   Description Position Summary This is manual labor in the perofrmance of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks of a physically demanding nature. Work involoves reposnsiblity for performing heavy manual labor including shoveling, raking, painting, lifting, bending, etc. Work is assigned by the Street Superintendent or Street Foreman Major Position Duties Garbage collection, drive trucks, paint, shovel crosswalks, clean parks, clean sewers, cut weeds, trim trees, shovel asphalt, pick upleaves, and rakes terraces. Required to drive trucks and help in general street maintenance.
