What you will be doing ….
The Manager of Cyber Security Validation Services role is responsible for managing the Validation, Patch Binary Acquisition (PBA), Transient Cyber Asset (TCA) services, and Production within the security business unit. This individual will manage and collaborate with engineering teams, product management, sales, and program management teams on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met accordingly. This role is responsible for driving the continuous improvement of product documentation, internal processes, metrics and other necessary tools to improve the organization’s product offerings.
- Manage Validation, Patch Binary Acquisition (PBA), Transient Cyber Asset (TCA) services, and Production within the security business unit.
- Manage the technical project work assigned to the teams collaborating with the product management, sales, and program management teams as needed to meet project objectives, deadlines, and budgets.
- Manage the validation services and production teams members to include:
- Yearly performance evaluations, and ensuring team members are utilizing best practices by providing leadership and advice on daily tasks
- Responsible for the onboarding and training of new team members as necessary
- Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of all product deliverables of assigned teams.
- Responsible for acting as technical contact for OEM customers and for supporting Product and Program Management in maintaining and expanding the product offerings within the accounts.
- Will be the technical escalation point for sales and program management teams to address any concerns regarding the service or its delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement of product documentation, internal processes, tools, reports, and metrics of assigned teams.
- Collaborate with product management, marketing and sales to improve organization’s product offerings and roadmap initiatives.
- Maintain a working understanding of applicable security compliance requirements related to critical infrastructure markets including, but not limited to NERC CIP, NEI 08-09.
- Perform inspections and sign-off on checklists, sign-off sheets, and other similar forms as part the organization’s quality assurance processes.
- Act as technical lead for escalation purposes as required.
- Act as a technical resource available to the organization to address internal, pre-sales, production-phase or post-sales events as necessary.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process at FoxGuard Solutions.
- Engineering duties as necessary.
What you will bring to the table…
- One to two years related experience and/or training; *OR* equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years related experience
- Requires strong working knowledge of information technology hardware, software, networking, security and other infrastructure products and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a computer related *OR* engineering field
- At least three years of prior management experience preferred
- Professional Certification
- Information technology and/or Security technical certification(s).
