Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a MicroStation CAD Administrator to join our well-established and growing team. This position can be located out of either our Corporate office in Mankato, MN or our Burnsville, MN location.As a Top150 Workplace in Minnesota, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a great team of professionals. Bolton & Menk is regional, consulting engineer firm with over 70 years of experience serving the Upper Midwest.
We are seeking a driven and dedicated new team member to join our CAD Work Group to assist with the setup, training and support for our design staff. Our Transportation Work Group uses MicroStation and PowerGEOPAK extensively for the plan production process and are looking for candidates who have excellent knowledge of these applications. This position will also be key in the migration from PowerGEOPAK to OpenRoads Designer.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in drafting or related degree from an accredited college with 4 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of MicroStation, PowerGEOPAK and ProjectWise
- Basic understanding for customization and technical support of MicroStation, PowerGEOPAK and ProjectWise, deployment and installation desired but not required
- Basic understanding of OpenRoads Designer desired but not required
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD is desired but not required
- Knowledge of design and field construction processes
- Strong project and time management skills as well as effective communications skill are essential.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license. Travel will may be required.
