Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified IT Technician/Specialist to provide support to the U.S. Army's Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE). The United States Army Fires Center of Excellence (USAFCoE) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, mission is to provide the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) with long-range training strategies, concepts, doctrine, training development, instruction and products and support products for current and future forces. FCoE's function is to serve as the user representative in the development of training methodologies and products, concepts, doctrine, organizational and materiel requirements for each functional area. The FCoE accomplishes this mission through the full spectrum of training services; exploitation of existing and emerging technologies and requirements (example: incorporating training for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and the forthcoming, Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS)); models and simulations; studies and analyses; experiments; exercises; training and doctrine development; and supplemental/supporting tasks.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform analytical, evaluation, and maintenance duties in support of LAN administration and LAN system components to include servers, desktop/laptop workstation configuration, PC, software, and peripherals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, hardware and software.
  • Shall obtain and sustain DOD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certifications. CompTIA Security+ certification, one Computer Environment (CE) MCITP- Windows 7 configuration test certification, and CompTIA A+ certification.

Clearance: A SECRET security clearance or the ability to obtain is required.

Travel: Travel may be required.

Location: FT Sill, OK / TDY to various CONUS and OCONUS locations
