As a part of the Extang Operations Team our production supervisors lead employees to be successful in meeting high quality standards and production goals. This individual will lead team members in our Extang facility located in Ann Arbor, Michigan on our Day Shift. Position Requirements: Lead employees in the day-to-day operations to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and productivity are maintained. Support and engage employees with training and coaching to ensure a positive work environment. Drive workflow and troubleshoot concerns as they arise to address potential bottlenecks. Coordinate clean and orderly work areas to ensure 5S standards are met Drive and support continuous improvement throughout the department. Ensure daily recording of department operational indicators is completed accurately. In light of the current pandemic situation, to protect all team members we require the ability to: Pass daily pandemic health screening protocols which include responding to CDC recommended personal health and activity related questions. Follow pandemic safety protocols which may include: Wearing of an approved face covering at all times Washing hands/use of hand sanitizer upon entry to facility and as needed throughout the day Cleaning/disinfecting of personal work area Maintaining social/physical distancing requirements (six feet from others) whenever possible   In some circumstances submitting to company paid required virus testing through approved medical provider   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Two year Associates Degree or 4 – 6 years Work Life Experience Proficient oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills with use of email, Information Financial System and Microsoft Office. Previous leadership experience, formal leadership training, or individuals pursing management/supervisory related degrees. Interpersonal and leadership skills to oversee, develop, and encourage the daily work of associates. Ability to understand and communicate knowledge of Extang. Quality Management System Manufacturing experience Thorough working knowledge of Extang. policies and procedures, job instructions, job relations, Job methods, job safety, lean principles and practices, Kanban, Six Sigma, and problem solving techniques. #ZR   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
